Services
About Us
Report
Founded in 2000, A.L.S. Landscape started out with a Ford Ranger and a snowmobile trailer.
We started by cleaning gutters, installing rocks and raking leaves.
Over the next several years, A.L.S. Landscape continued to grow.
The larger jobs of "back then", are now the day long jobs of today.
Continuing to invest in equipment and education, we have grown to be a non-stop business from April through December of each year.
A.L.S. Landscape is a hardscape / landscaping business at heart.
We focus our education and resources on being a premier paver and retaining wall company located in Illinois, and we are able to work throughout the state.
Excavation
Report
If you would like to install your own landscape projects, a pool, install a gravel driveway, get that cracked concrete removed, or get your yard regraded, please call us today.
We have the equipment and experience to get it done.
Sure, you can go rent a skid steer for about $300/day, spend half the time learning how to efficiently operate it and then spend more money because you need more time with the skid steer.
Then you have excavated what you need, but you have no where to haul it, and nothing to haul it with.
Retaining Walls
Report
Was it leaning out, leaning in, looked like a roller coaster, or just plain fell over?
That wall was probably installed incorrectly, or the materials used weren't up to the task.
We know what is needed to make a great looking wall for you.
If you want a timber or wood wall, we can do that.
How about a natural stone wall, we can do that.
Maybe a boulder wall is more your taste, we can do that.
Retaining walls are our business, and with many wall blocks to choose from, we can find one that works for you.
Pavers
Report
If you have heard that a paver patio should be constructed using 2 of sand, then let A.L.S. Landscape show you why that doesn't work.
We use a minimum of 6" of compacted gravel and 1" of sand.
The most important part of building a beautiful paver patio is compaction, compaction, compaction.
Poured concrete is a low cost option to pavers, however pavers have many advantages over concrete.
Paver installations are designed and installed to allow movement with the freeze/ thaw process.
Concrete is not which produces unsightly cracks and heaving.
